3. Recognize the positive and negative sides
Due to the different laying methods, the blankets are divided by the front and back sides, the front of the company’s blankets have the word “front”, and the front must be directed by the outward arrow, consistent with the direction of the paper machine operation, and the tension of the blanket must be moderate to prevent over-tension or too loose.
Papermaking blankets are generally washed and pressed with 3-5% soap alkali water for 2 hours, and warm water at about 60 °C is better. After the production of thin sheet paper new blanket is wetted with water, the softening time should be about 2-4 hours. The softening time of asbestos tile blanket should be about 1-2 hours after being wet with clean water. It is forbidden to dry roll the blanket without getting wet with water.
4. When the blanket is on the machine, avoid the shaft head oil sludge staining the carpet.
5. The chemical fiber content of needled blanket is more, and concentrated acid rinsing should be avoided.
6. The needle punched blanket has a large water content, and when embossing, the vacuum suction or extrusion roller line pressure can be increased, and the downward pressure roller is equipped with a drainage shovel knife to make the water discharge from both sides and reduce the moisture of the page.
7. Staple fiber and filler in pulp, easy to block the blanket, produce embossing, can be washed by spraying water on both sides and increase the flushing pressure, it is best to roll and wash after a hot water tank of about 45 degrees Celsius. Avoid brushing blankets with a hard brush when washing.
8. The needle punched blanket is flat and thick, not easy to fold, and should not be opened too tightly. If the blanket is too wide to pull, use an electric soldering iron to open the edge or cut the edge with scissors and then use the electric soldering iron to seal the edge.
9.Other instructions and requirements
9.1 The blanket should be stored separately from chemical materials and other materials to avoid corrosion damage to the blanket.
9.2 The place where the blanket is stored should be dry and ventilated, and it should be laid flat, preferably not standing upright, to prevent the phenomenon of loosening and tightening on the other.
9.3 The blanket should not be stored for too long, due to the characteristics of chemical fibers, long-term storage has a great impact on the size change of the blanket.
