On March 22, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 450000 tons/year cultural paper project of Yueyang Forest Paper Upgrading and Comprehensive Technical Transformation Project was held in Chenglingji New Port District, Yueyang City. Yueyang Forest Paper will be built into the world’s fastest cultural paper machine with the largest daily production capacity.
Yueyang Forest Paper plans to invest 3.172 billion yuan, relying on favorable construction conditions such as Yueyang Forest Paper’s existing land, self-provided power plants, self-provided wharves, special railway lines, and water intakes, as well as existing pulping equipment, to introduce a high-grade cultural paper production line with an annual output of 450000 tons, making it the world’s highest speed, largest daily production capacity, and the most advanced cultural paper machine under control; And rebuild a production line with an annual output of 200000 tons of chemical mechanical pulp, and construct or upgrade relevant public engineering systems.
After the completion of the project, Yueyang Forest Paper will gradually phase out some relatively backward papermaking and pulping production lines, which will help the company upgrade its technology and equipment, save energy and reduce consumption, enhance product market competitiveness, reduce project investment costs, and achieve asset preservation and appreciation.
